An Affinity Trust art group enters WISH’s wellbeing mural competition
An art group from Affinity Trust’s Hereford Opportunities Services, locally known as Score Community Opportunities, have produced a mural to enter into WISH’s competition. WISH (Wellbeing, Information, Signposting for Herefordshire) is a free service set up by Herefordshire county council to provide information on services and activities offered by communities and organisations throughout Herefordshire.
The competition was to produce a mural based on the concept of wellbeing and what it means to people. The winning entry will be displayed in WISH’s shop in Hereford. One of Score’s art groups (Robert, Tina, Matt and Jenny) feel that wellbeing involves: giving, lifelong learning, being active, taking notice and connecting. They made their mural around these ideas.
After all their hard work, they’ve submitted their mural to the competition and have their fingers crossed for a win.
WISH collates information about services and activities, provides some advice, and can signpost people to services that they need. Score is featured on the site for their Monday-Friday activities for people with learning disabilities, as well as their drama and exercise sessions.
People can access this information both online at www.wisherefordshire.org, or they can drop in or phone the WISH shop in High Town, Hereford.
