Support Workers for Cam - Location: Kirk Ella
Do you like walking? Really like it – enough to be out all day? Do you know all the Disney classics and lots of jolly songs to sing? Do you enjoy energetic activities like ice skating, climbing and bouncing on a trampoline?
Do you have enough curiosity and patience to work out how somebody feels?
We are recruiting a very special team to support Cam into his new flat. You will be working in his home, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. From keeping the environment free of litter (very important) to having a picnic whatever the weather, Cam has things he wants to do.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively, are essential for success in this role.
If you have the empathy to work out what matters to someone, and the creativity to make it happen for them, we'd love to hear from you, so apply now.
Our support workers make a difference every day.
We’re here to support people to live their life their way. It’s not about taking over or doing things in their place; it's about doing things with and alongside people. We’re looking for people who share our values and want to help people live life on their terms. You may be new to support work or looking to make an impact somewhere new.
Support Worker - Location: Market Weighton
As part of our team in Market Weighton, you'll support 13 people in their homes, which means building connections, sharing interests, and being genuinely interested in who they are.
We can train you to be a support worker, but if you love crafting or playing games, and can still make the household chores interesting, you’ll fit right in. But it's about more than just doing activities – we are looking for people who can build meaningful connections to the people we support to enable them to live their life their way.

Working for Affinity Trust is the best decision I have made. Having worked in this field for many years, supporting adults with LD under other companies, I can honestly say Affinity Trust is by far the best, for not only supporting their clients but also supporting their staff. Their training is second to none and very effective when put into place.
